Pricing & Scheduling

All tintypes are shot in my home studio in Franklin, TN, where you can enjoy an immersive experience. You will be able to witness the entirety of the early photographic process from the studio to the darkroom while also enjoying light hors d'oeuvres, water, and sparkling wine.

Scheduling

Please note that portrait sessions are scheduled about once a month for a Saturday set of sessions, and there may not always be sessions available. If you have any questions or would like to inquire about scheduling, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Pricing

Cost is determined by plate size and includes a full digital scan of the image.

Tin/Metal Plates:

  • 5x7: $125 (individual portraits only)

  • 8x10: $175 (couples/families and individual portraits; provides the most room and highest clarity)

For clear glass ambrotypes, please add $25 to each plate size.

Special Offer: After your first photo, any additional photos taken during your session will receive a $50 discount each, provided they are of the same size or smaller than the first plate. This offer is valid for as many additional photos as we can fit into your scheduled session time, allowing you to explore a variety of poses and compositions at a reduced price.

Retakes are always welcome and do not count against you.

Please note that a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your session time. This deposit will also be applied to your portrait session. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit may be forfeited. However, if you are in communication with me, I am happy to apply the deposit toward a future session. Thank you for your understanding.

Tin/metal plates can be taken home the day of the shoot. Clear glass ambrotypes will be available for pick-up or delivery a few days later.
